Welcome from the Chair
Welcome to the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at Weill Medical College of Cornell University! Our faculty members provide the full spectrum of modern Otolaryngologic clinical care. In addition, we perform basic, clinical and outcomes research in otology/neurotology, rhinology, head and neck cancer, laryngology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, and pediatric otolaryngology. Our diversified and well-trained faculty lecture nationally and internationally, and we have sponsored many CME courses that educate other physicians. In addition, we are fortunate to practice in one of the top-rated academic hospitals in the USA, and the top-rated hospital in New York City: New York-Presbyterian Hospital.We participate together with Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons to sponsor an outstanding residency training program in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. With rotations at Columbia, Weill Cornell, and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, our residents receive comprehensive training which rivals any program in New York City or the country.
We are excited about moving into the brand new, state-of-the-art York Avenue Ambulatory Care Center when it opens in the fall of 2006. This beautiful new space, just across York Avenue from our current location, will allow us to significantly expand our practice and offer the highest-quality care to even more of our New York, national, and international patients.
