The
Accident and Injury Recovery Program provides intervention
and treatment for individuals and families following life-threatening events.

Accidents:
Including car, airplane, or bicycle crashes; fires, burns, explosions and
industrial accidents

Natural
Disasters: Including earthquakes, floods, fires, and tornadoes
-
Illness
or loss: Including diagnosis of a life-threatening illness, or loss
of a loved one to sudden death.
Services

Evaluation:
State-of-the-art evaluations conducted by experts in the treatment
of Posttraumatic Stress Disorders available within 72 hours of a traumatic
event and on an emergency basis

Treatment:
Individualized treatment plans for Acute Stress Disorder, Posttraumatic
Stress Disorder(PTSD) and related problems such as substance abuse and
depression, including short-term treatment, group therapy and medication
-
Grief
counseling and support groups: Offered for families and friends of
trauma victims

Forensic
Services: Assessment of the psychological consequences and any resulting
disability following an accident or an injury

Services
to organizations: Critical incident stress debriefing and training
Financial
Information
Most insurance
plans are accepted, including Medicare, Medicaid, Workers Compensation,
and no fault. A sliding fee scale is available as appropriate.
